art, sport and winter

Type exhibitions

Start date 12.11.2025

End date 08.02.2026

Days wednesday - thursday - friday - saturday - sunday

In anticipation of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, gres art 671 presents an exhibition dedicated to winter sports, offering a perspective that spans art, architecture, and research.

Contemporary and historical works: paintings, installations, photographs, videos and archival materials convey art’s perspective on winter sports and the mountain world as a place of desire, exploration and discovery, but also, with the support of technology, society, the climate crisis and adaptation.

From Pieter Bruegel to Andreas Gursky, from Carlo Mollino to Laura Millard, from Randa Kherba and Ludwig Berger, from Walter Niedermayr and Kari Medig, via Giovanni Betti, Katharina Fleck, and many others.
For the first time, gres art 671 has commissioned a new work from Masbedo, a work from Studio Numechi and a research project from Studio Folder.

A journey through stories and micro-stories of snow that bring the FUORIPISTA perspective into the winter imagination.
