gres art 671 is a multidisciplinary space in Bergamo – a place where contemporary culture and art blend with dialogue, community needs and research. through art, an abandoned industrial site is transformed into a welcoming, creative environment.
A centre for art and culture, founded in Bergamo in 2023 with the aim of revitalising a former industrial area of over 3,000 square metres, and returning it to the community to preserve and hand down the memory of a historic venue, creating a space for cultural production: exhibitions and meetings, performances and workshops become opportunities to welcome and inspire the public, constantly invited to interact freely.
gres art 671 combines beauty and social impact, developing sustainable models that promote the well-being of the community. A place to go, discover, experiment and spend time, created as part of an ambitious urban regeneration project promoted by the Italmobiliare Group in collaboration with the Pesenti Foundation.
gres art 671 was created with the aim of breathing new life into a former industrial area and giving it back to the city, redeveloping the spaces to welcome and inspire the public. A place that arose from a process of transformation and that goes beyond being a mere exhibition space, giving meaning to an area that had been underused until now. A dynamic centre offering exhibitions, events, installations and workshops. It aims to offer a new vision of the interaction between art and the city, promoting intercultural dialogue and social and artistic development.
gres art 671 has further enhanced the city’s rich cultural landscape, opening up to embrace an international outlook, yet with the ability to engage with the local context.

gres art 671, promoted by Fondazione Pesenti Ets and developed by Italmobiliare, was inaugurated in 2023, the year Bergamo and Brescia were the joint Italian Capital of Culture. It is part of Gres Hub: an urban regeneration project that is coming to life and which covers a space of 60,000 square metres with the aim of providing a place for research, work and hospitality, striving towards a new relationship between the city centre and the outlying areas.
gres art 671 is promoted by Fondazione Pesenti, a third sector organisation whose mission is to promote the social, civil, cultural and gender growth of younger generations through training and the development of initiatives with a high social impact. Ever mindful of the needs and requirements of the area in which it operates, Fondazione Pesenti has been a key player in promoting the redevelopment project for the former Gres industrial area.
gres art 671 is a project supported and financed by Italmobiliare, one of Italy’s leading investment holding companies controlled by the Pesenti family.
