As a key space for reflection and action, gres art 671 seeks to transcend its traditional role as an art venue, positioning itself as a dynamic international hub for cultural exchange, diplomacy, and peacebuilding. This initiative is aligned with the exhibition De Bello. Notes on War and Peace, which offers a powerful exploration of the psychological, emotional, and physical effects of conflict through contemporary art. By connecting art to the themes of peace and war, gres art 671 will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue, not only within Italy but around the world, linking diverse cultures and voices committed to the ideals of peace and understanding.
These events will feature live discussions, talks, and panel sessions, giving audiences the chance to engage directly with these prominent figures, learn from their experiences, and reflect on how to contribute to global peace and justice.
The first encounter brings together Tawakkul Karman, Yemeni journalist, human rights activist, and the first Arab woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011, and Samia Nkrumah, a leading figure in Pan-African unity and an influential voice in the global movement for African unity.
