Days saturday

On the occasion of the preview of the Bergamo Book Fair, a meeting with Francesca Mannocchi dedicated to her latest book “Crescere, la guerra.”

Through a form of writing that moves between testimony and poetry, Mannocchi navigates conflict zones not as mere reportage, but as lived experience—one that leaves marks on the body, memory, and perception. From the wars she has witnessed firsthand emerges a profound reflection on what it means to be human, where words strive to remain faithful to what endures: shattered lives, fragile identities, and the need not to look away.

In conversation with the author: Daniele Rocchetti, artistic director of the Fiera dei Librai.
A moment of listening and dialogue that invites us to take a position, embracing the complexity and responsibility of the present.
